This is the second stage of our prophetic progression:

The beautiful appearance of false peace is gone. The atmosphere has changed. Fire. Conflict. Bloodshed. Nations at war. Cities falling. Humanity turning against humanity.

The imagery surrounding the rider declares the message of the Second Seal:

WAR • VIOLENCE • BLOODSHED • PEACE REMOVED FROM THE EARTH

The great sword is not decoration. It represents what Revelation says follows when restraint gives way and peace is removed.
