The gas-price imagery is not presented as a claim that Revelation 6 specifically predicts gasoline prices. It is a modern visual application of economic scarcity and rapidly increasing costs, while the biblical foundation remains the measured wheat, barley, scales and famine imagery of Revelation 6:5–6.

This is the Third Seal in our prophetic progression:
